Hello all, I live in Worcester, famous for porcelaine ( have I spelt that right??) Elgar, and Sauce LOL...Lea and Perrins. It has rained here most of the "summer" as well!

I live in an old cardboard refrigerator box.....down by the river.....no mattress so I wrap myself in bubblewrap before I go to bed.....seems to work alright.

I live in New South Wales, Australia. In the lower Hunter Valley in the city of Lake Macquarie,which doesn't have a post(Zip)code. All the towns or suburbs are set round the circumference of the lake and have their own postcodes.
More importantly the Hunter Valley is very large and is one of the premier places to grow wine. Mmm - Mmmmh! I live 45 Minutes from heaven!

I live 30 minutes south of Newcastle which, like the city in England, is an industrial city and was the home of BHP until quite recently. Most of the heavy industry has gone now, the waterfront is full of markets and cafes and the odd brewery and we have some of the best surfing beaches you could wish for, close enough to spit in. The city itself is going through a bit of turmoil and a lot of new development is in the wind. In a few years it will be something else. At the moment the western end of town is a bit manky, to say the least. Still, nothing's perfect.

If you are an artist, the place is full of it. Art, I mean. Galleries galore and painters without number. Art groups everywhere. You've always got somewhere to display your work.

One of my favourites is just south of us on the Central Coast at The Entrance. One of the local Clubs holds a Fabulous Fake competition every year in March and the prizes aren't bad' 1st prize is $1000 ($500 Cash & $500 Art Supplies).

Copying Old masters is very good for technique and colour mixing practice. The only proviso is that you must acknowledge the original artist and that he must have been dead for at least 50 years. (e.g. Gabi Fuller 2008 after Rembrandt )

I live in Leeds in the North East of England. Leeds is considered to be very trendy amongst the younger set, as there are loads of bars and clubs. Approximately 10 mins drive from where I live is the countryside and not far away the Yorkshire Dales. I've lived in Leeds most of my life (dad, mum and I did live in the Netherlands for about a year when dad did his national service) and I probably wouldn't want live anywhere else.
