Welcome Pamela. I hope you are enjoying our little home away from home here. Sorry I haven't been around much lately but saw this and thought I must reply.

Joan, I love the cards. I especially love the pink bird. I'm intrigued with the back ground. Is that the type of paper you used?

Also, how do you get your card into a puzzle ?

Thanks Sandy! I'm a little late getting a reply in! You know, painting on small canvases can make "greeting cards" too. I like the small thick canvases that can stand-alone. The above picture show two 4x6 thick canvases that a recipient can use all year round! They can put these on a table, shelf, or wall.

I'll be showing a local up-scale shop my cards, puzzle cards, and small canvases for their 2009 buying season. I hope they want a few.

Hugs, Joan

I am posting a card and puzzle card. The puzzle cards are fun because you write the message on the back, after painting, take it apart and give it to the recipient in the envelope that comes with it, and the recipient has to put the puzzle together to read the message. Kids love these.

My chicken card has movable eyes and a brad heart. I've given these to my adult friends, and they love the humor of these.

Dottie, I think if people posted some of their cards here it would be okay. It's up to them though. There is a group specifically for Christmas cards on the board.
