- About Me:
I am a full time artist working in watercolour, acrylics,gouache and pastels. I have been an artist for over 40 years. In that time I have contributed to some major and minor exhibitions and won awards for my oil paintings a medium I rarely use today. My paintings sell all over the world with my biggest sales coming from the U.S.A. They are hung in boardrooms, corporate offices and collections. I am currently in the lucky position that most of my paintings are sold before they leave the easel.
I live in the wonderful Ribble Valley which is full of rich pasture land, green wooded areas and has The River Ribble and The River Calder meandering through it.
I will help anyone who has a problem or requires information and my techniques are for sharing. Art is about friendship. I am always available.
If you wish to use any of my paintings for practice please feel free and if you require help on how I have achieved certain effects just ask. Remember IT'S NOT THE END RESULT THAT COUNTS BUT THE PLEASURE YOU EXPERIENCED ARRIVING THERE... JUST ENJOY!

You will be proud to know that while I was mixing my colors...especially the blue for the sky I was thinking...too blue I need to fix this with the compliment.....not oh I need more Burnt Sienna. Literally I need more of the compliment! That was awesome so it stuck in my brain!!
