Anke For your information ... and to let you know....

Hi Everybody,

Since I am still being asked by members of Craft Crowd for help on how to do things ... and other requests for help ... to which I have replied ...

I thought that I should let you know that I have decided to leave Admin..... as it was too time consuming for me.

As some of you may know, I am still running a business from a home office, and am still trying to convince my husband to retire ... and am still hopeful it will happen soon ....

Keith SELL YOUR ART FOR FREE!!!

Hi Guys and Gals
I know a lot of you have asked about selling art and how to go about it. Well there is an "Ebay" for artists now. Joining is free and it works on a No Sale No Fee basis. You set your own prices and their commission is very low on sales. This is the ideal place for all of you who don't want the hassle of setting up a web page or employing a gallery and agent.

I have no connection with it but when I was told about it I thought… Continue

Claude Got a chance to Meet up with Carole and Hubby

Every so often you get to meet up with someone from the site in real life. My wife Janet and I did just that last week when we met Carole and husband Mirv. in New Orleans Louisiana. We had a great time having dinner and lunches together and walked the French Quarter quite a bit. Carole has more pictures than I do and I'm sure she will share them when she has a chance to post them. She is just as "bubbly" and elegantly charming in real life as she is oContinue

Pamela Meredith thank you to all

Thank you to all who commented on my paintings. I have been looking to see how to thank everyone so I am sending my thanks this way. They have all been noted, well received and helpful. The watercolour I am only learning and it is hard going from oils to watercolour. Thanks too the Simply Painting style I am finding it easier. I thank them for that too. So if anyone wants to tell me how to thank individual that would be appreciated too. I like this site very much and think it a very useful for b… Continue

Dixie newkirk Looking back!!

What do you want to be when you grow up? This is a question we are all ask and I know that our place in our families and events in our life shape what we become.I was the oldest and the two sisters just younger than me played together while I was usually alone,I spent a lot of time daydreaming and drawing, if I could find a blank piece of paper. I love looking back on people and events in my life and maybe accepting thats the way it was meant to be.

elizabeth lamb Older Paintings

Searching through some old paintings for ideas for new ones, I was struck just how much my style has changed, and there was me not even sure I had one, , but we all seem to develop one eventually.. I could see how heavy handed I was and having done things in the paintings that I certainly would

Gabrielle I think I'm a Murderer??

Ever had one of those days?

Yesterday, I was coming back through the breezeway in my barn when I decided to close the slider doors to stop the wind and the rain from coming in.

All of a sudden while sliding the large barn doors across, I hear this squeal? I pushed the door back and heard another squeal? I couldn't work out where the squeal was coming from so I did it again, backwards and forwards, each time another squeal. I finally twigged the squealing was comi

Gabrielle What's Wrong with Me?

What's wrong with me?

I got so mad today, I found on my orange tree in the orchard all these caterpillars from the Citrus Butterfly. I was so excited and went back later to photograph them only to find there was one left. I got so mad because a bird ate them??? :(

What's wrong with me, am I going mad? Hubby thinks I am, he reminded me that last year I would have squashed them in a heart beat and gone off about them eating my trees.

Guess who ate th

Administrator Mult Uploads

Multi Uploads.. There is NO rule on how many art photos , photographs or craft that can be posted at a time. About every two to three months someone makes a BIG DEAL out of the fact that CRAFT CROWD has no set rules about how many can be posted at one time. The ADMINs will NOT be making a rule...and we sincerely hope that members DO NOT take it upon themselves to be rude or mean to those that want to post what some members think is an excessive number at the one time. We cannot enforce any am… Continue

Gabrielle Water Lilies!

I thought this was very interesting!

The last 30 years of Monet's life were dominated by his water lilies of which he painted about 250 oil paintings. Claude Monet loved to garden and observe nature and he enjoyed doing his paintings en plein air. It inspired him to do his painting outside where he could observe his subject mat

Sandra Zarembski WIP -- Supercell painting

Well, here it is as of today. I've been struggling a bit with my Alexander studies so haven't had much time for this painting, and no time at all for watercolors.

I'm intending to make some wisps on the storm cloud (supercell) to make it look less like a stale layer cake, and do some corrections on the house, sharpen the shadows, etc. I'm also going to add a transparent wash of violet over the supercell to make it less competitive with the house.

May put some cur

Nola Jones Absent without leave.

This is just to apologize for not keeping up with all the beautiful paintings coming in. It is a busy time here on the farm, as my son and partner moved out nearby us and my veggie garden takes up a lot of time also. My classes have started again for the year, so have been organizing them. But just last Friday, started my first painting (in pastel) for the year and will post shortly.

Thanks to Kay and team for Craft Crowd. Hope Claude and Kit enjoy their break.
